When The Going Gets Weird …
OK, now we have the Democrat nominee for Lt. Gov. of Illinois being accused of spousal abuse, taking steroids, threatening his girl friend with a knife, and god knows what else. Gov. Quinn has asked him to resign, but he says he won’t.
One thing about Illinois politics, it’s never, ever dull.

Blago Strikes Back
The former governor said he is "blacker than Barack Obama”, according to stories from various websites and news outlets.
That may be true, but he’s also dumber than a fencepost.

Strange Day
Today's the day Blago swears in the Illinois Senate, which then will advise him that he has been impeached and will be tried by the folks he just swore in. Some speculate that Rod won't show up, but I bet he'll be there, just to get TV time and brag about how he's "working for the people of Illinois".
I hope I can find some TV coverage or streaming video.

The Criminal Complaint
The criminal complaint filed against Blagoboy by the U.S. Attorney in early December, 2008 is stunning. You can read the original here.
Away We Go
The antics of Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich are so amazingly bizarre, strange and wacky that they deserve a blog of their own. This one is dedicated to Blagoboy, his friends and cronies, and crooked politicians everywhere.
